The Transact e-commerce service provides a simple, flexible system for providing online commercial transactions to your clients. Unlike many simple Virtual Stores, the Transact e-commerce engine allows you to design your store exactly as you wish. There are no special restrictions, no ugly formatting that doesn't match your site, and no mysteries.
The system hides all of the back-end processing from the administrator, allowing the Webmaster to quickly implement a true client-server solution using normal, ordinary HTML.
Unlike many Virtual Store services, the entire interface is configurable to match your web site design. The service is supported by every popular web design tool, including Microsoft FrontPage, Netscape Composer, Corel HomePage, Adobe PageMill, and many more.
When a user selects items, these selections are saved in a virtual "Shopping Cart". As long as the user stays in the Transact e-commerce, their session information is preserved. If the remote client uses a browser with Cookie support enabled, their shopping cart with remain populated for up to 30 days, no matter how many times they leave and return to the site. (The length of time items remain in the cart is configurable by you, and can be changed on a per-product basis.)
Users can login in to retrieve a previously stored session.
The Transact e-commerce uses a client-server database engine designed to handle millions of concurrent requests. This database engine stores all the required information.

When a purchase has been made, we encrypt the purchase information and e-mail it to your sales manager immediately. In every case, the entire process is handled automatically. You don't need to know anything about the credit authorization process! All you need to do is create your web pages, and the Transact e-commerce engine will handle all of the processing.
